There is no perfect plan or magic pill, but the best way to lose weight is to change your entire eating lifestyle and diet habits.
One shouldn’t think of looking better physically with a “diet” because a diet is a short term plan for a few weeks or a few months. The best way to to eat the things that you enjoy but in healthier ways and smaller portions. Over consumption is a big issue but it can easily be changed.
Our body is made of over 95% water so staying hydrated is one of the most important things. Drinking at least one gallon a day is recommended but if you workout, you should be drinking more.
Another good tip is to always eat a large breakfast. Big breakfasts will jumpstart the metabolism and helps burn additional calories over time. A good breakfast consists of eggs, oatmeal, and milk or orange juice.
The common thing most people do is have 2-3 large meals a day. This is not good compared to having smaller more frequent meals. Having 6 smaller meals a day curbs hunger and it increases metabolism to help burn additional calories daily.
Exercise should also be part of the total regimen. There are different ways to exercise but the two main ways are to do weight lifting workouts or cardio workouts. For losing weight, cardio workouts are the best because they burn more calories.
To tone up and lose body fat, weight lifting is a great choice. It helps build muscle which makes the body fat percentage go down leading to a leaner look.
Losing weight and getting a better body is not a quick, one step solution. It is a mix of cardio and eating better. Making simple changes in your lifestyle will make the whole process easier and very motivational.
