Can you relate to this dilemma?

I sit on my keister too many hours each day while I’m working. With the holidays coming, I’m a little worried about it … growing.

Without getting into too many details about my keister, we’ll just say that it’s definitely not the best thing for any keister to be sitting too long each day and leave it at that.

Do you spend too much time in your swivel chair, too?

That got me thinking. A lot of my time sitting is spent listening to recorded teleseminars to boost my business.

So, I decided that I’d use the teleseminars as an excuse to get Skinny, Sexy and Smart all at the same time! How? By getting an mp3 player and listening and learning while I walk or run.

Of course, the first player I looked at was the Ipod which is awesome and comes in a lot of different colors that would look great with my walking shoes — but, the Ipod is pretty expensive. I didn’t know if I would be THAT dedicated to walking just yet, even though I was really drooling over the green one. If you have the cash to spend on the Ipod, then go
for it. I’ll be green with envy if you do.

I checked into some more options and found a cool little mp3 player that was a fraction of the price. I received it last week, and I love it! It’s working just fine for what I need.

The first thing I did when I got my mp3 player was to start a file with about 20 hours of audios that I had saved up from a bunch of speakers who I admire. Talks on getting traffic, improving my copywriting, and writing e-books … that fun kind of stuff that really gets us Internet Marketers fired up, and puts the rest of the world to sleep.

So, needless to say, I’ve got a lot of walking ahead of me. I’m feeling like Forrest Gump. I may start running … and never stop.

If you’re dreading the holiday weight gain, but don’t want to take time away from your business, an mp3 player might be a good investment for you, too. Definitely shop around, if
you’re on a tight budget. There are a lot of options available and the prices on the lower end are very affordable. Ask Santa to help you multi-task to be a Sexy and Smart WAHM, too.

When it is holiday time, only one drink comes to mind: eggnog.

This healthy drink recipe is delicious and it uses soymilk instead of whole milk. It gets a completely new flavor and color with the addition of peppermint oil.

A drink fills up your tummy just before you hit the sack. Serve it warm and you will be on your way to sleepy town.

Now you can dream away while Santa does his magic.

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 2 cups soymilk
  • 1 cup granulated white sugar
  • 2 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp. peppermint oil
  • 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin spice

To Make:

First, take your 4 eggs and put the egg whites into a bowl and the egg yolks into a bowl.

Put a half a cup of white sugar into each egg bowl. Beat each egg bowl slightly.

Add the heavy cream gradually to the egg whites. Keep whipping this mixture. Add vanilla to this egg bowl. Now in one medium sized bowl, combine both of the egg mixtures.

Slowly add the soymilk. Continue stirring while you are adding the milk. Eggnog would not be complete without using some ground nutmeg. This recipe adds it right into the mix and not just as a garnish on top.

This recipe also uses more spices than just traditional nutmeg. Now add ground cinnamon and pumpkin spice to the mixing bowl. Keep whipping the eggnog. Now time for a special addition to ordinary eggnog.

Add one tablespoon of peppermint oil. This gives regular eggnog more of a Christmas flavor.

Chill your eggnog in the refrigerator before serving. After it has chilled, pour the eggnog into a holiday punch bowl. Add a dash of ground nutmeg on top and a dollop of fat free whip cream before serving a glass to one your guests.

Now that the holiday season is over a lot of us want to get rid of some excess weight. Here is a low calorie recipe that tastes good and will help you to achieve your goal.

Asparagus is a delicious vegetable that can be prepared many ways, from soups to spreads to being eaten alone. This healthy low calorie recipe is for asparagus leaves. It has a rich flavor and an unbeatable taste.

Asparagus has a unique taste when dipped in lemon juice as used in this recipe. There is no need for butter or added fat here.

The garlic also adds a bold flavor and provides great antioxidants for this dish that can be served as a snack or side dish to any meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole asparagus
  • 1 cup white onion, chopped
  • 1 small Roma tomato, diced
  • 1 tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, diced

To Make:

Take a whole asparagus and chop off the rough parts. Wash the vegetable thoroughly.

Cut the asparagus leaves off, one by one. Place them into a small saucepan with just a pinch of salt and cold water.

Add 2 garlic cloves to the water and asparagus. Cook this vegetable on high heat. Boil it for 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and place the asparagus leaves on a large serving platter.

Next, chop up the white onion and tomato. Put spoonfuls of tomato and onion on each asparagus leaf. Remember to spoon out the garlic cloves that you put in to boil the asparagus.

Put garlic on each leaf. This recipe calls for fresh squeezed lemon juice. Lemon juice from a bottle may be used. Squeeze lemon juice all over each asparagus leaf. If you desire butter for dipping the asparagus in, use low fat or fat free butter. This dipping method is optional.

More onion and tomato may be used in this recipe or different toppings and seasonings. You can experiment to find the perfect taste for your asparagus leaves.

Serve immediately.
